I know Bineeisha through my friend Champagne. Champagne and I had met through my rowing tour. She had introduced me to several of the Bay Area tinyboatsession folk. I had not seen Champagne since our row, and we decided to meet up for brunch. She had not planned to do a song, but I brought the boat just in case. After brunch, we walked around Oakland's Lake Merrit. While we talked about tinyboatsession, Champagned pulled out her phone and reached out to a friend. Bineeisha had just finished up some errands in the area. With all the ingredients in hand for tinyboatsession. We headed down to Alameda. The three of us sat in the boat, had snacks, and laughs. As the sun hit the golden hour, Bineeisha began to rap. She shared that her siblings rapped, and this was some of her inspiration. Her song was "Cold Case, a song dedicated to my siblings." The cadence of her rhymes voice felt like a story, homage, and prayer. A wake rolled in. For a moment, it synched with her rhythm. -Jordan and Clarabelle
