
Meet the Tinyboats!
CLARABELLE, the cute little rowboat, is a Jersey Skiff built by Gig Harbor Boat Works. She's where most of the Tinyboatsessions have happened.

NENE is the little dory that belongs to Ben Doerr. He and his family live on a boat on Bainbridge island, and Nene is named after his grandfather.
FRISKY is Paul's boat in Long Beach. She's built by Gig Harbor Boat Works and usually has a sail.

This is Jack's little fiberglass catamaran is a hard-working dive boat in Sausalito.

BARNACLE is the tender to the Sailboat Velella, where Eric lived for many years.

This little green canoe was sitting in Turtle's yard, and he threw it in the back of his truck to make it down to the Mad River.

This tough little rigid inflatable usually likes zipping around and landing on beaches to surf around Santa Barbara.

This little red canoe belongs to my brother's old Scoutmaster Andy in Albuquerque. Its yoke was broken, and I fixed it so I could carry it to the river.

This little tin fishing boat belongs to Marvin and Ruth, who have sailed many of the seven seas but now live in the Bay Area.

Rambling Jack had this classic Swampscott dory refurbished and named her JOAN.

RUBY BELGONIA is Roger's San Francisco Pelican. She likes to go out sailing with FRISKY in Long Beach.

VELLELLA is a Westsail 32. Though she's the biggest boat in tinyboatsession so far, she's still pretty tiny in the middle of the sea. Eric lived on her, and he sailed her to Hawaii and back!

This is a sturdy little tin fleet boat in Lake Cachuma. It's got a lot of miles fishing in those waters.

This is Freedom Crabber. It's a Whitehall Tango 17 built in Victoria. She did Adam's Tinyboatsession. Her sister-boat did Harold's.

LADYBUG is Driftwood Johnny's hand-made canoe. Her home waters are the Sunflower River in Mississippi. However, she's traveled thousands of miles on the Big Muddy. itself.
