I met Peter through Kate Dinsmore and Owen Thayer. What I love about all these tinyboatsessions is how folks reach out to folks and suddenly I meet someone I had never met before and we get to sit down in a tinyboat and make something that I think is really beautiful. The image is simple-a musician in a boat. The exposure adds an element of adventure. A squawk of a bird, the rock of a wave, the current or a gust of wind—almost anything could happen. To me, the stern of the little vessel is a juxtaposition, both exposing the musician to the world and cradling them in focus while they play in the middle of it all.
