FIG (Feeling Is Good)/ Ariel was part of the Humbolt crew that Stella was so excited for me to meet.  I was honored that all these folks showed up with very little planning.  I had felt bad because I kept pushing back the tinyboatsession on the Mad River as the project's scope grew as I drive up from the Rio Grande.  All these Humbolt musicians just liked the idea and were wonderfully patient. They came with faith that it would all work out somehow.  Fig even brought their friend Julio Perdido who would also have songs! 

By the time Fig showed up and began to play, the banks of the mad river had a small crowd of musicians, and we found a fine little pool next to the main channel next to a backdrop of a fallen redwood.   Jordan & Clarabelle
