I met Nate Budroe because Alexandra asked me if I was planning a Tinyboatsession in the Bay Area. I said yes and asked if she knew anyone. Nate was one of the folks she passed on. I wrote up a few sentences about Tinyboatsession and scattered it to Alexandra's friends. Nate was one of the first to write back. "Hahaha, what?" followed by "I love this." and finally, "I'm so down."
I thanked him and wrote back, "More in the next 24 hours!" I did not have a boat at this point. But my hopes were high that my friend Cyril could find a tinyboat I could use. Nate came out with his friend Soph on a windy day with his guitar. With the wind sometimes humming through the rigging in the sailboats in the harbor around us, he made music for an audience of two. -Jordan & Clarabelle
