I know Oak Top through Ethan. Ethan was one of the Humboldt musicians that Stella told me about, and he had mentioned it to Oak Top. Oak Tops other name is Michael. As Tinyboatsession on the Mad River approached would approach, I would get unexpected texts and voice messages from people who had heard about it or found it. For a while, I thought Oak Top and Michael were two people. I felt like I had confirmed with one and felt like I had dropped the ball reaching out to the other, but on the banks of the Mad River, I was pleased to find that they were the same person.
