I met Anna Elizabeth Laube through Hart, my old friend and rowing buddy from college.  Hart introduced me to many artists Ben Doerr and Louisiana Pearl, and they lead to many others.   She's a traveler and had found a spot during the pandemic in Edmonds, a small town north of Seattle.   She told me she could meet me in Seattle.  I looked at the map around Edmonds and found a lake close to her that I had never noticed in twenty years of living here, Lake Ballinger.  We headed out into unfamiliar waters for the both of us at the golden hour, and found some solitude and songs.
