Louisiana Pearl

I met Louisiana Pearl through my buddy Hart, who introduced me to Ben and Anna.  Louisiana Pearl and her husband, Matt had lived in Denver at the same time as Hart.  Now, all of them were in Washington.   The weight of the unknown is a very heavy one, and there was much that was unknown in march of 2020.  Anna and Matt came to the Arboretum and included in the four songs she brought to sing one she had written, in just a few days, called "This Little Boat."  Below are some of her words from March, 2020.  You can find her music at:

“I’m a Musician. I am a new Seattleite and a shy music maker on the struggle bus to support myself as a musician. Man, did this pandemic take the wind out of my sails? After a long road of creating music and learning to become my own resource, I was just feeling sturdy on my feet and could see the path ahead. Now it’s hard to see past the fog. I’m going to continue on, making and sharing music, and more than that, I am looking for opportunities to be of use, now and beyond, when this finally settles.” Louisiana Pearl, March 2020.
