Louisiana Pearl
I met Louisiana Pearl through my buddy Hart, who introduced me to Ben and Anna. Louisiana Pearl and her husband, Matt had lived in Denver at the same time as Hart. Now, all of them were in Washington. The weight of the unknown is a very heavy one, and there was much that was unknown in march of 2020. Anna and Matt came to the Arboretum and included in the four songs she brought to sing one she had written, in just a few days, called "This Little Boat." “I’m a Musician. I am a new Seattleite and a shy music maker on the struggle bus to support myself as a musician. Man, did this pandemic take the wind out of my sails? After a long road of creating music and learning to become my own resource, I was just feeling sturdy on my feet and could see the path ahead. Now it’s hard to see past the fog.
